Then I took out the landscape fabric, put in bender board edging, and hired someone to rototill.
I planted lamb's ears, cape mallow, ground morning glory, Santa Barbara daisy, African daisy, wallflower, buddleia, lavender cotton, penstemon, lily of the nile, and climbing morning glory against the fence.
These shouldn't need extra water once established. For now, I put in a soaker hose with a timer since we won't get any rain until September or October.
