We took the National Park Service boat to Ft. Sumter in the Charleston Harbor.
It was about a 35 minute ride, and Evan entertained the mostly cruiseship
passengers by walking up and down the aisle the entire trip. Once we arrived,
we took turns walking around the fort while Evan practiced walking on the
Kimberly sharing her lunch with Evan inside Fort Sumter.

Paul liked the model of Ft. Sumter as it looked before it was leveled during the Civil War.
Those are some big cannonballs!

South Carolina Aquarium
We went straight to the aquarium after getting off the Ft. Sumter boat.
The exhibits are centered around South Carolina habitats, which was a nice
change from the standard aquarium stuff. Evan liked the touch
tank. We're not sure he noticed there was anything in the tank; he
happy getting to splash in the water.
The South Carolina Aquarium exhibits start with a mountain stream. Evan liked the fish.

We think we'll skip the camping in South Carolina.
